PENDULUM
Pendulum explores the shifting relationship between memory, emotion, and place. Fragmented landscapes are constructed from found images and layered with drawing, painting, and other materials, bringing together disparate visual elements to create impressions of experiences remembered.
Rather than attempting to reconstruct a specific place or moment, each work considers how memories are continually altered by time—fading, shifting, and becoming entangled with emotion. Fragments of images and materials come together as an imperfect record, suggesting not the experience itself, but what remains of it.
